Remember how I was in a five-year writing slump and then all of a sudden I got a gig writing about a Twilight marathon and then got published writing about my old choir director, all in the space of a few weeks?

Laurie, I am so glad your 5 year slump has ended. I haven't seen much of you or your family in recent times, but I read your blog fairly often and read your piece in Modern Mormon Men and in the Independent. I love your writing and hope you continue forever without another slump!
